Sonia Delaunay-Terk (1885–1979) was from Ukraine and worked in Paris from the 1900s onwards, where she developed Orphism with Robert Delaunay. Her work combines painting with applied arts, especially textile, fashion, and book design. In the last years of her life, she created the series "Les Illuminations de Rimbaud" (1973): fifteen sheets in etching, aquatint, and stencil print for nine poems by Arthur Rimbaud, the frontispiece of which features Étienne Carjat's portrait of Rimbaud.
In the collection: "Les Illuminations de Rimbaud."
Technique: Aquatint.
