In his early works, Rolf Müller-Landau primarily created oil paintings, watercolors, woodcuts, and drawings of landscapes, portraits, and still lifes. After 1945, murals, mosaics, and church windows for sacred buildings were added. He developed the color-cut monotype, in which hand-painted woodcuts and linocuts are printed on Chinese rice paper, so that each sheet remains unique. His later work includes extensive watercolor series created after a trip from the Rhône to the Côte d'Azur.
In the collection: "Woman with a Carafe and a Vessel."
